UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE’S RESEARCH COLLABORATION PLATFORM IN SINGAPORE
ABOUT US
The Cambridge Centre for Advanced Research and Education in Singapore (CARES) is the University of Cambridge’s first overseas research centre. Cambridge CARES is based in Singapore and brings together researchers from around the world to work on new scientific advances and technologies that will benefit Singapore and the international community.
OUR RESEARCH
C4T Project
Centre for Lifelong Learning and Individualised Cognition
The Centre for Lifelong Learning and Individualised Cognition explores cognitive flexibility across the lifespan by developing innovative research in the science of learning and translating it to educational and real-life applications.
The World Avatar™
The World Avatar™ brings together for the first time cross-domain modelling and data storage with an ontology-based expert system to support the design, analysis and operation optimisation of any complex system.

AMPLE - Pilot Lab Technician (Temp)
We are seeking a short-term candidate to assist with running production trials for nanomaterials. This role will provide exposure to a startup environment and new technologies in nanomaterials manufacturing, automation and artificial intelligence.
AMPLE - Chemical Process Technician
We are seeking a candidate to monitor and control chemical processes to ensure safe and efficient operations. This includes tasks such as maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, maintaining accurate records of all process-related data, and working with the product team to ensure that products are manufactured to meet customer requirements.
CLIC - Research Engineer II
We are seeking a candidate to design and develop captivating and motivational gamification elements for web-based cognitive tasks by working closely with the researchers. The candidate will also manage and develop in-house IT, data management infrastructure (e.g. REDCap), and web-based solutions.
PIPS - Research Fellow
The candidate will develop an ontological representation of physical process models relevant to pharmaceutical manufacturing and link these models with a Knowledge Graph. The candidate should have process modelling and development experience, preferably within the fine chemistry/pharmaceuticals sectors.
